I work in series, sometimes alone on a mountain top; when I'm working under my Landscape Heritage Project, or in public performing; as in From Windows to Mirrors or Promethean Painting Project. In general, I work to create  enthusiasm and change in my viewers. I'm happy with beauty. What was once my goal, in my youth, to create the greatest art ever made, has become, surprisingly that everything looks like a painting to me. Isn't that fun and beautiful... and that was unexpected!

Furthermore, my strokes have become language. I see my forms and subjects as true poems. I strike the canvas like a ballplayer strikes at the ball. The moments are fragmentary and fleeting but I can grab them and they exist. Art is about intention. Style is nothing and never a goal and I intend no depictions. I am experiential only! I am Dionysian.

I work to encourage the next generation. The world isn't flat. It's happening all around you. Let's enjoy the world and make more art!
